Sullia: Cars collide head on; nine injured, one serious

Sullia, Aug 28: Two cars collided head on at Bilinele on Subramanya-Kadaba state highway on the afternoon of Saturday. About nine persons were injured in the accident. The condition of one of them is said to be serious.

Four employees of NIMHANS were going to Subramanya in an Ertiga car driven by Nandakumar after visiting Dharmasthala temple. In another Omni car five people of Shikaripura were moving towards Dharmasthala when this mishap occurred.

Vijayalaxmi of Bengaluru received grievous injuries in the accident. Others escaped with minor injuries.

Kadaba police arrived on the spot and are investigating further.
