Kalaburagi, Aug 28: In a surprising incident that occurred at Mallaba village of Afzalpura in the district, a cobra slid on the pack of a woman who was sleeping and was sitting with its hood open for more than an hour. Miraculously the cobra went away without harming the woman.

Bhagamma Hanamantha, a farmer woman of Mallaba village was resting after completing her field work. As soon as she came to know that the cobra had climbed her back she chanted the name of Srishaila Mallaiah and asked for his protection. The cobra sat still on her back for about an hour and went without harming.

People came running to watch this unique scene and caught the same on video of their mobiles. The cobra did not move due to the chaos created by people also.

Family of Bhagamma says that her son died last year and was buried in the same farm where she was sleeping. They believe that it is her son had taken the form of a snake and come to visit his mother.
