Udupi, Apr 17: Jan Lokpal Bill will not help root out all sort of corruption though I support Anna Hazare's struggle as it is against corruption. My seven-point memorandum to be submitted to the centre will be the answer to root our corruption from the country, said yoga exponent Baba Ramdev.
He was speaking at the Yoga session held at the MGM College ground here on Sunday April 17 as part of Bharat Swabhiman Yatra held across the country. While, Hazare has 10,000 followers behind him, I have 10 crore people supporting me, he said.
Illegal mining should be stopped in the state, he said and added that his memorandum to be submitted to the centre will include the same.
All the states are into corrupt practices. I will not stress on Karnataka alone, said Baba Ramdev while being pointed out by the presspersons that the state has been dubbed as number one as far as corruption is concerned.
He expresed cpnfidence that his struggle will bear fruits and there will be no need to float a political party to realize his dreams, when queried on the same. We will take up the struggle against corruption in every state after July 2, he added.
Pejavar senior seer Vishveshateeratha Swamiji among others was present.
