Chartering a Toastmasters Club is an uphill task indeed. Whether it is in Las Vegas or Los Angles whether it is in Mungalooru or Bengalooru or whether it is in Ras al Khafji or Ras al Khaima - each area has its own demographic constraints with its own leadership skills, abilities and characteristics. Establishing a Toastmasters Club needs a spirit of demonstration, dedication and determination. The efforts displayed by Dr. Zita Lobo at a remote town called Ras Al Khaima in making her dreams of creating a Toastmasters Club into a reality was indeed commendable. I was fortunate in witnessing one of the Toastmasters sessions at Ras al Khaima not too long ago, and the talent of leadership and comeradarie, added with the power of eloquence of the speakers, specially the ladies in their graceful Islamic attire was truly remarkable. Ras al Khaima has now appeared on the world map as one of the landmarks of leadership, and the family of Toastmasters will always remain grateful to Dr. Zita Lobo for her exemplary efforts in making the dreams into a reality - congratulations Shaikha Zita.

The voice of Ras al Khaima is now in the horizon, and let the voices be heard loud and clear in this world of communication so that peace, harmony and happiness may prevail in this world thru the medium of Toastmasters. Assalam-alekhum and Qudha Afeiz.
