Dubai: Lancy Nite on May 6 - Tribute to Singer Ivan Noronha
Dubai, Apr 18: A musical extravaganza presented by Shylan 'Lancy's Musical Nite' will be held at the Shiekh Rashid here on May 6. The programme at auditorium of Indian High School, Dubai will be dedicated to Konkani's soft and melodious voice Ivan Noronha, Belloor who passed away last year.
Lancy Noronha, composer and singer's troupe, who is all set to present the musical nite have talented singers from around UAE, and also well known singers like Prem Kumar and Keny Zuzarthe from India. Lancy attributes his success in music to late Ivan Noronha who was one of the talented singers
Lancy who has 27 years of singing and composing experience will present most of the songs penned and composed by him during the nite.
Joseph Mathias, who is the backbone of this musical evening, is great musical lover and support of Konkani culture, music and art in UAE as well as back home. An entreprenuer by profession, Joseph has great love for music and has talent in singing too. He will accompany and support Lancy in the musical show.
The show will feature Jerry and Joseph, comedians from Mangalore.
The other artistes who are performing at the musical event are Dony and Asha Correa, Mario Rego, Reshma Cutinho, Jerina Lewis, Yash Pinto, Vinod and Vincent Rodrigues.
Noted music director Ramiro will provide the music for the entire show.
Uttam Memenzes will be the compere.
