Beltangady, Sep 4: A 17-year-old boy (facing conflict with the law) has been booked under sections 376, 506 of IPC, and 5(L), 6 of the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences Bill (POCSO) Act 2012.
As per the complaint, the victim (complainant) is pursuing her 10th standard in a private school. A year ago she came into contact with the accused through social media.
Reportedly they both were in love. As the accused was in contact with her over phone via messaging, he was forcing the victim to visit her residence.
On August 13, the accused had told the victim that he would be visiting her residence at night and she should open the door. He threatened her If she did not open the door, he would create a ruckus in front of her house.
The accused went near the residence of the victim at around 12 midnight and asked her to open the door after everyone went to sleep.
Out of fear, the victim, after confirming that everyone at home was asleep, opened the door and took him to her room. The accused who went to her room, sexually assaulted despite her resistance. Later, the accused also threatened the victim against revealing the incident to anyone.
The accused, by similarly threatening the victim, visited her residence four to five times during the night.
On September 2, at around 11.50 in the night, the accused visited the residence of the victim and forced himself on the victim sexually.
He has been booked under sections 376, 506 of IPC, and 5(L), 6 of the POCSO Act 2012.
