Three persons electrocuted to death by high tension wire at Bawana farmhouse


New Delhi, Sep 7 (IANS): Three persons were electrocuted to death while trimming the leaves of trees using a trolly at a wedding farmhouse in Bawana after they came contact with 11,000-volt high tension wire hanging above.

The deceased have been identified as Faizan (19), Suhail (19) and Jubair (23).

A senior police officer said that they got a call at 10 am informing that three persons had died due to electrocution at Maya Mahal, a farmhouse at Auchandi village in Bawana in North West Delhi.

"On the left corner from the main entrance, three persons were found in charred condition. They were removed to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead," the officer said.

On inquiry, it was found that two of the deceased were trimming the leaves of trees using an iron trolley about 13 feet tall. As soon as it came touch with the high tension wire, these two persons were electrocuted.

A third person, who was digging the field for planting saplings nearby, rushed to their resuce and was also electrocuted in the process.

"The two persons on the trolley have been identified as Faizan and Suhail, both residents of Kithaur village in UP's Meerut district. The third person has been identified as Jubair. The farmhouse is owned by a person named Bobby," the police said.
