Bantwal: Injured youth under treatment after fall from tree dies

Bantwal, Sep 12: A young man who was critically injured after falling from a tree died here without responding to treatment.

The deceased is Mohammed Sharif (32), son of Kodepadav resident Sulaiman here.

Mohammed Sharif who was staying in the house of his grandfather at Amtoor near Kalladka, was cutting trees for a living. He fell from a tree and suffered severe injuries while cutting it on September 11.

He was under treatment in a private hospital in Mangaluru but he died on Monday, September 12 without responding to treatment. He has left behind his mother, wife and a five-month-old infant.
