Mangaluru: Shri Gopalakrishna preschool opened at Shakthinagar in city

Mangaluru, Jun 1: Shri Gopalakrishna preschool was inaugurated by vice-chancellor of Nitte University, Dr Ramananda Shetty by lighting the lamp along with other dignitaries at Shri Gopalakrishna temple premises in Shakthinagar here on Wednesday, June 1.


Trustee of the temple Sanjith Naik welcomed the gathering and said "All of you know the journey of Mahabaleshwara in transforming Shakthinagar into an ideal location to live and work. With the inauguration of this new preschool, we intend to build a primary school and a pre university college in the coming days and for this cause, a 4 acre land has been reserved here in Shakthinagar. The institution will come up under the banner Shakthi Education Trust."

Addressing the gathering Dr Ramananda Shetty said "I am happy to be part of this inaugural ceremony. It feels good to see all these kids here. There is no doubt that this institution will accomplish the goal set by them and attain greater heights in the days to come. There are very few people who think about doing good to the society and K C Naik is one among them. I wish that this institution produces more and better citizens to the country."

Chairman of Sharada Vidyalaya, Prof M B Puranik said "As temples are essential for spirituality, in the same way schools are also necessary to bring out good citizens. Our country has ample of population but the need of the hour is to teach our children about patriotism towards the country, values, culture and tradition. This can only be done by educational institutions. K C Naik is doing a noble job. I wish this institution grows big in the coming days."

Dr A V Shetty said "Education is the medicine for all the wrong happenings in the society. K C Naik has sown a seed today in the form of preschool. I wish that it grows like a tree and impart education to many."

Anantha Krishna Bhat, Monappa Bhandary, Akhila Alva, Dr K V Devadiga also wished the preschool very best.

Temple committee head KC Naik, Saguna Naik and others were present.

    Congratulations. KC Naik is really a great person. I am also a part of this team. i conduct karate classes in this temple.
