Dubai’s Swadist Restaurant fame Suresh Nunaje found murdered in Thane

Mumbai, Jul 23: Suresh Nunaje (48), who owned Swadist Restaurant at Karama, Dubai, was found dead in Thane district in the outskirts of the metro. The police said that he was murdered. 

It is learnt that Suresh from the city owned a bungalow at Sahapur taluk, Thane district. He was staying there since the last some days. It is gathered that someone gained entry into the bungalow of Munaje by cutting open the grills of the window on Friday night. The intruders bound the limbs of Nunaje, who was alone at the time, with clothes. They reportedly tortured him till he breathed his last, before fleeing. 

The police were informed after a maid saw the body of Nunaje in the bungalow on Saturday. The police found a number of injury marks on his body. The mortal remains were sent for postmortem, and the report is awaited. 

The police have registered a case of murder and house breaking. They have launched a probe into this death and are hopeful of arresting the accused soon. 

Swadist Restaurant is a well known vegetarian restaurant in Karama in Dubai.

    Many Indian restaurants abroad are 'fronts' for fugitive Indian underworld...couple of restaurants in far east are so well furnished ....the interior cost would take at least a decade to recover....and there is no such high volume of business that owner will recover that...

    the manner of the death of Mr Suresh Noojaje indicates cold bloodedness and focus of underworld... hope he did not have any transactions with underworld figures....In Gulf , you come across many personalities who are perfectly normal / gentlemen (but however carrying underworld / fugitive tag back home).....Ali Budesh could be spotted having tea in ordinary Indian restaurants in Bahrain....

    True., this guy is from Tulunadu..., even I heard him speaking Udupi Brahmin's Tulu....,
    (In Coastal Karnataka there are two Tulu variants - One is Brahminical & other is non-Bramin)

    After all the food quality stand by its name & the smiling photo of Late Suresh is incredibly apt... to explain the goodness about the Hotel.

    Hotel may be small.., but the taste wise it is has very big name by any standard..., it has all the credential & potential to become.., One more Saravana or Kamat Brand....!!!!

    RIP!! Since he was tortured, it seems to be a revenge murder case!
    If high profile people are involved them do not expect much action!

    He is From Tulunad, His Actual Sir Name is Noojaje which is a name of the place in Tulunad.

    And He Knew Tulu which was his mother tongue, you can check in FB.

    Suresh is a Brahmin by religion, native of Puttur in South Kanara district.
    Hard working & spent majority of his time in Bombay
    I personally know him from last 17 years in Dubai (my neighbour in Karama, Dubai)
    Very helpful by nature
    He was living in this place (Kalyan Mumbai) from last 3 years
    Recently they have moved their house belongings from Dubai to Mumbai (Kalyan) to refurbish their own house in Kalyan

    While reading this, I remember about a theft in the house of one Shetty restauranter in Mumbai. Some people came to his house telling that the owner has sent them for some work in the house. His wife and children were in the house. By these people's behaviour and finding a knife with them, his wife realized that they were thieves. She told them to take whatever they want, but not to harm her and children. They took valuables and went without hurting any one.

    when the culprit supports the ruling party in maligning the opposition member his sentence is forgiven like the lady in Mumbai who killed his daughter,planed to kill his son with help of her ex husbanfs,boyfriends etc when she supported BJPEE to give witness aginst Chidambaram& his son her sentence was forgiven.This happens only only in INDIA

    This will be going to dust and no results since it is powerful high profiled criminal case ! BHASKAR SHETTY case still dragging inside the court and one day will be the culprits released from jail due to lack of evidence even court knows who is the murderer !
