Udupi: Independence Day celebrated at Nejar Juma Masjid Santhekatte

Udupi, Aug 15: A flag hoisting ceremony was held at Nejar Juma Masjid by Mosque president Al Hajj Abubacker and Qateeb Al Haj Usman on Thursday.

Children of Nejar Madrasa and prominent businessmen and community service persons were present.

Al Hajj Abubacker addressed the children stressing on patriotism and to spend their time in nation building activities.

The programme later came to a close with prayer.
