Byndoor, Dec 7: It is but natural for the newlyweds to plan their honeymoon in advance. But Anudeep Hegde and Minusha Kanchan couple from this taluk gave more importance to clearing the beach rather than going on honeymoon. After working regularly for nine days, they have been successful in clearing debris from one part of Someshwara beach. The couple is now preparing to leave on a honeymoon trip.

Anudeep is into digital marketing while Minusha is an employee of a pharmaceutical company. They got married on November 18. In order to ensure that the memories of their marriage linger longer in their memory, they decided to clean Someshwara beach here. During the first seven days, they collected 500 kg waste and disposed them off. Since the last two days, the locals have joined hands with them. As much as 700 metres of the beach has been cleaned now, and the total amount of waste they collected is around 700 to 800 kg.

They began to pick waste materials lying in Someshwara beach from November 27. Every day they set aside two hours for this purpose and put together liquor bottles, footwear and other environmentally hazardous materials. During the first week, they disposed of 500 kg of waste. Since the last two days some locals have joined hands with them. 700 metres of the beachline has been cleaned and 700 to 800 kg waste has been collected and disposed of.

Anudeep Hegde expresses happiness at the fact that the cleanliness campaign begun by them now has attracted more people. He said that Hassan along with his team and also Manjunath Shetty from Byndoor are involved with the task now.

Anudeep Hegde and Minusha Kanchan, first of all I wish you both a Happy Married Life and God bless you abundantly. I have been to Byndoor many times before and after migrating to New York. My wife's elder sister and her family lived there. This young couple have postponed their honeymoon plans. But this part of clearing beach is unbelievable but true. I would like to thank Sylvester D'Souza of Daijiworld for the picture coverage which shows how this couple and her dedicated team worked so hard in spite of Pandemic.

I appreciate their efforts. But there is no use of doing this because after another 2 weeks beach will be back to the same old status. Clean beach is only possible when everyone treats beach as their home (I mean don't throw wastes, plastics, bottles etc). I would recommend this couple to enjoy married life instead of this vain efforts.

Kiran Poojary Bangalore, their efforts were not in vain. They did something which others sit and comment all in vain.Atleast they tried their best to keep envirement clean at their best.If only everyone do something so ,carry off their waste home instead of throwing on beach.Fishes and other creatures swallow lot of plastic from water and end up without filling their hunger. In kannada say hani koodi halla. If they keep enough dust bins on beaches might help.Wish them a happy married life .Other side they could also I am sure during collecting waste with others enjoy their time together a art of togetherness.

Beeech life is full of fun

They are just married and having fun in the open area also beach cleaning efforts. This way even if they spend their life time, they will be pre-occupied with non-sense task.
They have to be very vigilant about private BD detectives who may spoil their good intention and may file a case saying Love Jihad.

No point in doing such works, 2020 is coming to an END and we are still stuck up with issues of GARBAGE, SPITTING, NAME CHANGING,BEEF BAN etc. Now all this should be declared as a NATIONAL CULTURE

No proper dustbin arranged near beach I have seen every 50 meter dustbin arranged during my earlier GCC and other country trip. If any one throw wastage penalty will be imposed. After all elected people giving only bashanas with primise
Instaed of cleaning accumulate more and more wastage than only our authority will open and find the solution.
