Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 23: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 14 fresh coronavirus cases on Wednesday raising the tally to 32,673. Out of these, 415 cases are currently active.
A total of 4,41,198 samples have been tested. Out of which, 4,08,525 are negative.
As many as 35 people were discharged on Wednesday. A total of 732 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 18,049 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 19,27,084 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,984, including 8 fresh cases on Wednesday. Out of these, 75 cases are currently active.
Over 2,76,000 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,53,016 have turned out negative.
As many as 11 patients were discharged on Wednesday. A total of 188 deaths have occured so far.
