Udupi: MLA Yashpal Suvarna, BJP leaders face plaint for insulting CM during protest

Udupi, Sep 8: A case has been filed against Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna and other BJP leaders for staging a protest against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and for allegedly insulting him.

The complaint, lodged by Saurabh Ballal, NSUI President of Udupi district, names Suvarna along with Girish Anchan, Prathviraj Shetty Billadi, Prabhakar Poojary, Abhiraj Suvarna, Vijay Kodavoor, Balakrishna Shetty, Ajith Malpe, Veena Shetty, and Vikhyat Shetty.

The complaint alleges that during a protest held near Syndicate Circle in Manipal, Anchan and Billadi struck a replica of the Chief Minister with sandals. The complaint also accuses the group of attempting to incite and provoke others.

The matter has been reported to the Manipal police station for further investigation.

Then the same politicians exploit the gullible people and make them fight each other.
