Facebook post against PM Modi - Director of regional English language centre transferred

Bengaluru, Sep 20: The director of Regional English Centre Dr B K S Vardhan was transferred from his position after he posted a comment against the government.

Recently, Dr Vardhan had posted on his Facebook account on the occasion of birthday of PM Modi in which he wrote, “On behalf of the untouchable community of the country, I wish a happy birthday to PM Modi. If you are elected as prime minister one more time, swear in the name of Kashi Vishwanath to make an honest attempt to abide by social justice. At least appoint such an education minister.”

DSERT director V Sumangala is given the additional responsibility of the post that fell vacant due to the transfer of Dr Vardhan.

    I dont support this, as this guy was in a position due to reservation or quota . Perhaps thousands of other capables were shown the door to accomodate this guy. Had he come on his own merit and criticised, we could have supported. He just turned around and bent, so sure anyone will take him from the right end.

    In Hinduism everything is permitted. Neech Jaath can take on Oonch Jaath. One can even question GOD himself. Hindusim is not stagnant and extremely diverse. It may have had its share of Bad traditions but it is on the wane. This is primarily because there is no rule book which Hindu has to follow.

    Honestly, Untouchability is not prevelant in cities. It is only prevelant in remote village pockets and there too it is declining. So no point in blaming Mr Modi. Today dalits are used to checkmate in a political game.

    His wishes weren't against PM, but a wish to get an Education Minister who has Education so that he can lead future generations in 21st Century. Probably those who reported his post didn't understand what he has intended through his statement. I've experienced some people in some social media doesn't understand what is written & assume it is anti PM & his policies. If we have some person leading us who always states stories as true facts, lies are his favorite pass time, while his education & certificates are fake what else can we expect from the leaders other than to thwart any questions or suggestions as anti ruling party actions. It certainly proves we are in dictatorship after 2014.

    Exactly, this is what is called adhika prasanga. What was the need to mention the word “untouchable” while wishing the PM? These are the likes of people who have reached the top thru reservations and quota system. These very same people hinder the abolition of caste system in the country while blaming the upper castes for atrocities and discrimination. Considering the benefits they want the age old system to remain forever.

    Going by his looks Dr Vardhan belongs to the class which cannot be touched as per Manuvada....he must have suffered a lot from the upper caste people in varna society...but he must have give a thought that he is up against dictator who does not listen but only speaks and does drama baazi....if this chai maker will be pm again for another term...the country will turn into somalia of asia...

    Country under BJP & Modi rule is as bad good as 'One man show' and Democracy is in transformation status as authoritarian rule ! People have the right to express what they feel right and government cannot restrict peoples choice of expression as per constitutional provisions in that direction.     What is unsaid is revealed & reflected in action by the Govt of the day for reasons better known to them...,probably it is a conscious battle vs ego.., the duality & the bias towards Manu wadi is exposed....!!!!!     One or two points which stand out glaringly in his FB post: 1.On behalf of all the Untouchables *.. 🤔Who has given him such authority? 2'What do he mean ' if you are elected ' once again?? Is there fear or hope in it?? It shouldn't matter to a to a Director of a Regional English Language Centre of a ' Democratic ' country who its democratically elected PM would be !! He is to do his job irrespective ! Looks like a ' quota fellow' who got this post, not solely on merit. Ridiculous. Why only transfer? He holds the Post at the ' leisure of the Government !'Let this be drilled into him.Not to write nonsense in public forums.
