Udupi: DC Kurma Rao, SP Akshay Machhindra undertake city rounds, oversee traffic

Udupi, Sep 21: A team under the leadership of Udupi deputy commissioner (DC) M Kurma Rao and SP Akshay Machhindra visited and oversaw the traffic at old KSRTC bus stand here and Kalsanka junction early in the morning on September 21.

The DC said that people are facing problems due to traffic congestion in the city. “I visited the junctions in the company of the engineer to find solutions and avoid traffic congestion. We will be holding discussions to prevent traffic issues for the time being,” he said.

Udupi police station inspector Pramod Kumar, Traffic police station officer Abdul Khader, municipal council commissioner Uday, council officer Yashwanth, highway engineer and other officials were present.

    A Simple solution is just reallocate the City Bus Stand ,and remove roadside hawkers and beggars.
