Forceful circumcision, conversion of Hindu youth to Islam; case filed against 11

Hubballi, Sep 25 (IANS): An FIR has been filed against 11 people in connection with forcefully converting a Hindu youth to Islam in Hubballi city, police said on Sunday.

According to police, 26-year-old Sridhara Gangadhara, a resident of Yadavanahalli in Maddur taluk of Mandya district was forcefully converted. He has been named as Mohammad Salman.

Police said that Sridhara is a private company employee and was going through a financial crisis. He had shared it with one Attaur Rahman who took him to a mosque in May in Bengaluru.

Sridhara was locked up in the mosque and 'Khatna' (circumcision) was performed forcefully and was forced to eat cow meat. They also took his signatures on empty papers regarding the religious conversion.

After 'Khatna (circumcision)' was performed, Sridhara was taken to Tirupathy, Puttur, Bhuvanagar mosques of Andhra Pradesh and given him training of Islam.

They threatened him to convert at least three persons every year to Islam. He was given a pistol and photos were taken. The accused threatened him that he would be projected as a terrorist if he failed to listen to them, police said.

They transferred Rs 35,000 in his account and asked him to follow their orders. The incident came to light when he went to the police station after being assaulted by a gang of unknown persons in Bhairidevarkoppa in Hubballi recently. He had come here as his Facebook female friend called him over to meet, police said. Further investigation is on.

This is a cooked up story. Like our roads it is full of potholes. It's well rehearsed false narrative. He should prove that it is forceful conversion not the other way round. When there were millions of Hindus was he stupid to approach a non-Hindu for help.

forcible conversion & circumcision is possible if a hindu or a christian person is loving a muslima & da muslima family members ask him 2 convert & circumcise if he wanted 2 marry a muslima/muslim girl. suppose both da girl & boy agree 2 marry w/o converting & w/o circumcising den da muslima famil is male members may make him forcible conversion & forcible circumcision. as per islam a muslima should never marry a non-muslim.

Mr. David Pais, I am afraid you are not well-informed about the Muslim laws regarding marriage with persons of other religions. A marriage of a Muslim with a person of other religion is not recognized as valid unless the other person belongs to a "kitabi" (of the Book) religion, namely, a Jew or a Christian. A Muslim's marriage with a Jew or Christian is recognized as valid marriage by the Islamic law.

@babu shenoy, Mangalore, a christian man, a christian girl or a jewish man , a jewish girl can b married 2 a muslim, whereas a muslima should never marry a christian or Jewish man. if does so muslims have da right 2 kill as honour killing of a muslima. da scholars & clerics of Islam r considering christians & jews as kufr's/ kaafirs/unbelievers. of course it is written day christians & jews r people of da book.

Deuteronomy 30:6 And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. Jeremiah 9:25-26 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will punish all those who are circumcised merely in the flesh— Egypt, Judah, Edom, the sons of Ammon, Moab, and all who dwell in the desert who cut the corners of their hair, for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in heart. Jeremiah 4:4 Circumcise yourselves to the Lord; remove the foreskin of your hearts, O men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn with none to quench it, because of the evil of your deeds

Chota Munna Doodh peeta baccha hai kya jo forcefull conversion kare... Agar koi karta bhi hai toh kya wo wapas apne forefathers k religion pe wapas nahi jaega dusre din? All these laws are being enforced just to harass minorities... I really pity on these guyz, knowing that is their religion so week that they need laws to prevent from conversion? No matter what one brings any stringent laws, if someone is willfully ready to accept the truth then none can stop them.

Any civilised gentleman who is truly reformed , would not comment on other religion. Blind faith, sorcery, Blackmagic, child marriege , slavery /untouchability etc was there in every religion . All reformed over a period of time to some extent . So focus on your faith rather than criticising others just because of feedom of speech, which is only in india , which would have been condemned by death for blasphemy in your religion.
