Kasargod: Man killed by his machete after accidental fall

Kasargod, Sep 27: A man was killed when the machete in his hand accidentally hit his chest after he slipped and fell down on Tuesday, September 27 in Munnad here.

Munnada Pallatungal resident K M Joserph (66) is the deceased.

The incident occurred in the morning when he was on his way to his farm along with his wife for rubber tapping. He accidentally slipped and fell down and the machete in his hand hit his chest.

Hearing his wife scream the people in the neighborhood came there and rushed Joseph to a hospital. However, his life could not be saved.

Post mortem was conducted on the body and alter handed over to the family.
