Rupee falls sharply to all-time low of 82.33 against dollar

New Delhi, Oct 7 (IANS): Indian rupee on Friday fell sharply to its all-time low of 82.33 against the dollar owing to a rise in US bond yields and firming up of crude oil prices.

Rupee had closed at 81.89 on Thursday.

It was trading at 82.30 against the dollar in the morning after opening at 82.19 a dollar. Later, it touched an all-time low of 82.33 against the dollar.

The all-time low plunge in the rupee has come a day after the World Bank had on Thursday cut India's growth forecast for this financial year by a full percentage point amid rising inflation and adverse geo-political conditions.

NRI's, hold on to your money. Don't send it to India. FED may hike interest rates and a solid US job growth and higher yield on bonds will make dollar further stronger. It is 11:37 PM in Riyadh and USD to INR touched 82.83. Just shy of 83. RBI has sold a 110 billion Dollars to save the rupee from the Forex Reserves, yet can't steady the Rupee. Does anyone know where is Nirmala Sitharaman?

All this is the result of mismanagement of finances and inexperienced people handling the economy like a corner shop finance management. All the good and experienced financial experts have left because of political interference. Just by using fekunomics rupee won’t survive in world markets.

As per fekunomics weak rupee prior to 2014 was due to corruption. After 2014 it's due to strong dollar and moreover it's a global trend and we are best among the worst.

The oil price excuse cannot be given because huge taxes collected from every litre of diesel .. petrol .. other down stream products .... Further INDIA negotiated a good deal with Russia ... For Russian oil ... with Mr Putin ..at reduced prices .. despite Russia getting banned by the west ... China and India continues to buy .. ..@ discounts .... of course Russia selling gas etc To Europe ..is separate matter not relevant here ... Now we have further pain .. next months .. exports on decline .. .....US ..dollar getting stronger because of interest rate hike by their Fed .. with this. Obviously capital flight ......Not much foreign direct investment.... Foreign investors pulling out from stock market..

Please urgently send SOS to ex Gujarath CM, Who knows why and how currency falls!!!. I have seen some videos where he was giving advise to our Prime minister Mr Manmohan Singh. He was telling currency falls because of government failure. Another solutiion is to ask DK MP who promised his Prine minister and his government will make 1Rs= 15 Dollers.
