Udupi: Fisherman falls into sea at Malpe fishing port, rescued

Udupi, Oct 11: A fisherman, who fell into the sea from a boat that was anchored on the west side jetty of Malpe fishing port, was rescued by diving expert Eshwar Malpe.

Prajwal, native of Odisha was working in deep sea fishing boat.

On Monday October 10 evening, when he was going from one boat to another, he slipped and fell into the sea and his body was stuck in the slime till neck. He was holding to the tyre that was handing on the side of the boat and wailing for help.

Diving expert Eshwar Malpe lifted him with the help of rope.
