Udupi, May 3: Veteran journalist, U S Shenoy (U Surendra Shenoy), will receive the late Rajesh Shibaje Award, at a function being held by Bangalore Partakartara Vedike at Thenkanidiyoor government college in the district at 3 pm on Wednesday May 4.
College principal, Prof G Yoganand, Daijiworld's former resident editor Richard Lasrado, and Kundapur Bhandarkars College head of the department of Kannada, Prof Rekha Bannadi, will be present.
On the occasion, Borgalgudde Manjunath of SDM College will deliver a lecture on initial lessons of entering journalism.
