Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Oct 24: The Toll Gate Virodhi Horata Samithi has decided to hold indefinite protests day and night from October 28 urging to vacate Surathkal toll gate.

Munir Katipalla, convener of the Horata Samithi in a press release dated October 24, stated that repeated time limits sought by the government elected representatives and the officials to close the toll gate have made them suspect their intentions.

He stated that two police cases were registered against the Horata Samithi through the toll contractors with the support of BJP MP and MLA in connection with the peaceful gherao of the toll gate that was held on October 18.

The campaign against the toll gate is peaceful and sincere. The campaign will not stop, he stated.
