Mangaluru: St Agnes high School celebrates Rajyotsava

Mangaluru, Nov 2: Rajyotsava means the birth of a state. In 1956 a state was created by merging all the Kannada speaking regions in India, which was named as Karnataka.

St Agnes high School students celebrated in a meaningful way by highlighting the significance of the day. The students organized quiz competition and a short skit based on Kannada language. The headmistress Sr Flossy Monthero AC appreciated the Kannada language and reminded the students to have liking towards all the languages.

Prima Frank the class teacher of standard IX planned the programme. All the students of class IXth B conducted the programme enthusiastically. The quiz winners were given the prizes. The programme was wrapped up with Nadageethe.
