Kasargod: Sexual harassment of 17-year-old girl - Three more arrested

Kasargod, Nov 5: Police arrested three more people in connection with the sexual harassment of a 17-year-old girl, who was taken to various places on the pretext of getting married and harassed sexually.

Azharuddin Tangal (29) and Mohammed Jalaluddin Tangal (33), both residents of Muliyaru Mastikundu and T S Mohammed (28), a resident of Meepuguri in Kasargod are the arrested accused.

Police have already arrested two people in the case. In total, there are 13 men accused in this case.

    Our trend and moral values are changed. If parents are strict children elope or commit suicide and if parents give freedom children misuse it . In both ways parents are in pain.

I have 2 doubts on the incident: 1) What is the need to go to ''VARIOUS PLACES" to get married? 2) When it is illegal for a girl to marry at the age 17; why did she went with the boy?

    There is only 1 possibility that; being 17 year old and minor; she doesn't know anything about the outside world.

    @Nawaz, illegal to marry at the age of 17 if Indian laws are followed. There are many who do not want to respect constitution of India and some political parties are protecting them for the sake of getting their votes.

    @Johnson, Yes, I know. That's why these political parties released Rapist and Kikler Baba Ram Rahim on parole 40 days during the election time and BJP MLA s attended his sermons also. These are the same politicians who release 11 gang rapists and killers during elections in Gujarat.

    @Johnson, Show me a village where Indian laws are followed completely. If you cannot, don't generalize things. I can also give examples of hundreds of unlawful things taking place in every category of the society. You just don't become saint just by blaming about bad deeds of others. You should practice first before preaching.
