Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 5: No Covid cases were reported from Dakshina Kannada on Saturday, November 5, one case registered in Udupi.

The total number of positive cases in Dakshina Kannada district are 1,37,166, out of which 10 are currently active. One patient was discharged on November 5.

No deaths were reported on November 5. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

One coronavirus case was reported on November 5. The total active Covid cases are 1.

A total of 10,90,830 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,86,421 have received both doses and 2,97,793 people have received booster doses.
