Bommai arrives in Udupi for Jan Sankalp Yatra, calls Congress 'Gangotri' of corruption

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Nov 7: Chief minister (CM) Basavaraj Bommai said that attempt is made to organize people along with the party by visiting every constituency.

Bommai arrived in the city for Jan Sankalp Yatra and spoke to reporters at Ambalpady Helipad. He said that once the Yatra gets over, Rathyathra will take place from both the directions. He also said that he has plans to visit all 224 constituencies.

Bommai further said, “Congress party is under illusion. It is a well-known fact that people have rejected them because of their divide and rule policy. Public of Karnataka will never forget that Congress brought the state to its nadir.

“Siddaramaiah had said in the past that Yediyurappa and Kumaraswamy will not be the CM of Karnataka. He said that Congress will regain power and he will be the CM. But so far none of his statements have turned true.

“Congress is the Gangotri of corruption. The record of scams of their rule is on record. They cover up the corruption of their period and accuse others of wrong doing,” he said.

When the media queried on the matter of opportunity only for officers in police department to question during departmental inquiry and not to other staff, Bommai said that he will look into it.

The CM also said that survey is being done for paddy purchase centres in coastal region and decision will be taken in the coming week. He also said that action will be taken on toll gate closure.

The very fact that the BJP came up with the Jan Sankalp yatra after the Congress did the Bharat Jodo proves that they are only copycats. Not an iota of originality.

“NA KHAUNGA, NA KHANE DUNGA” -- all remeber this famous statement now famous joke -- In the Gujarat bridge repair, which collapsed and killed about 135 people -- incl 50 children -- the amount given for repair works to a watch company was Rs 2 crore but spent amount was less than 20 lakhs -- So, Karnataka slightly better with 40 % corruption -- Under Gujarat model of development it is 90 %-- Congress maybe Gangotri -- the origins of the sacred and mighty GANGA RIVER but now BJP proving to be River Ganges or GANGA itself --

My humble request to you my dear CM, we are not worried even if your party bought power by purchasing those MLAs who sold themselves, but for heaven's sake stop talking of Congress party and Hindu religious matter. We are sick of it. You say they are gangothri and they say you are Ganga. For congress - their party bosses are there and for religious matter - religion heads are there. I wish all politicians shall be banned for publicly visiting any religious places of worship. They can go privately instead. Similarly, religious heads shall be banned from attending political gathering. If not by government, people shall discourage them.
