6,000 police personnel for PM Modi's security in Bengaluru on Nov 11

Bengaluru, Nov 10 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Bengaluru on Friday November 11 to take part in five events, including a public rally, and around 6,000 police personnel will be deputed to ensure the security, said police.

PM Modi will arrive at 9 a.m. and will leave for Madurai Airport in Tamil Nadu at 1.45 p.m.

During his whirlwind tour spanning about four hours, PM Modi will take part in five programmes, including the inauguration of a 108-feet tall bronze statue of the founder of Bengaluru city Kempegowda.

PM Modi will arrive in a special flight at HAL airport at 9 a.m. He will arrive at the Vidhana Soudha and garland the statues of social reformers Kanaka Dasa and Valmiki in the premises.

Later, he will reach the Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station in Bengaluru and wave the green flag to Vande Bharata Express and Bharat Gourav Kashi Darshan trains.

The prime minister will reach the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru and inaugurate swanky Terminal-2 at 11.30 a.m. He will also inaugurate the Kempegowda statue built in the premises of Bengaluru airport at 12 noon. Afterwards, he will participate and address the public gathering at 12.20 p.m.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner Pratap Reddy stated that 6,000 police personnel would be deputed to ensure the security during the visit of PM Modi to Bengaluru. The police are arranging alternative routes to minimise the traffic jam during the prime minister's movements. "PM Modi is using a helipad to avoid traffic jams in the central business district," he added.

What an extravaganza and colossal waste of public resources to inflate this man’s ego! Spends millions to gather poor gullible to tell them how poor he was and how concerned he is of them. I think the amount being spent merely on a day’s fancy dresses to dress this clown could be easily used to feed thousands who go to sleep without decent meal.

When the major portion of tax payers money is spent on these unproductive nautankis throughout the year and security arrangements costs of every Tom, Jerry and Harry in politics, what is there for development and improvements of common people's lives. This happens only in this country.

Criminal waste of tax payers’ hard earned money, that too for political reasons! Why 6000 police? Who is he afraid of??? It never happens in UK, US or Canada. Those presidents walk free on the streets without any security because they have nothing to be afraid of.

Pity the souls cribbing on security coverage provided by state to Modi. Kindly understand at any point of time it would be only one third of the number mentioned on grounds as Cops on ground duty strictly put in 8 to 9 hours only. That too covering the entire 100 odd kilometers of Bengaluru and sensitive areas like Airport, Majestic and Hebbala. But I hate the hatred poured out for country's beloved PM on this forum, perhaps followers not obeying their LoveGuru!

Security is PM's right. But buffing and continuing with lies is cheating. He needs to say what he meant 15lakhs to each account from Swiss Black money. Late Ram Jethmalani will never forgive Modiji for this particular lie about Swiss Black money. Poor Jethmalani took Modi seriously. He forgot Modiji wanted power, not Swiss money.

When Pappu and his family can have Z security without being in power for years, Why cant the PM? Its nothing new,, every country leader does that. It happens every where Europe, ME etc. No Govt takes a risk. We have lost leaders due this lax in security . In Saudi , I remember we had to stay 8-10 hours indoors cos the ruler had to attend a funeral in town. All kept their tails between their legs and obeyed.
