Mumbai: Tulasi Pooja celebrated at renovated Gokula

Mumbai, Nov 10: Gopalakrishna Public trust and BSKB association celebrated Tulasi pooja in the participation of 20 Bhajan groups of Mumbai and the outskirts from October 26 till November 4. The devotees and the priests from various maths conducted Tulasi Sankeertane.

Priest Gopal Bhat Kidiyoor under the management of honorary secretary A P K Pothi couple conducted Tulasi Pooje. Gopooje, Sankeertane etc. on November 5.

Umamaheshwari temple chief priest Vedamurthi Srinivas Udupa had decorated the idol of Gopalakrishna deity and Shalini Udupa had decorated Tulasi deity in the garden. The Tulasi Vivah rituals in the night were held under the leadership of chief priest Daregudde Srinivas Bhat and under the management of Dr Suresh Rao couple.

Gokula Bhajana mandali performed Bhajans. The students of Sahana Bharadhwaj under her direction performed a musical skit titled Srikrishna – Tulasi Kalyana. Gopalakrishna Public trust board of trustees members, members of religious committee, BSKB association office bearers, executive committee members, members, well known businessman Kishan J Shetty and more than 300 devotees from across Mumbai took part.
