Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (JD/EP)

Udupi, Nov 10: The Lumpy skin disease spreads to cattle by Capri pox virus.

As it spreads from sick cattle to healthy cattle and causes monetary loss to the owners, as a preventive measure, the deputy commissioner has banned the transport of cows and buffaloes for the next one month.

The deputy director of the department of animal husbandry, in a press release, has directed dairy farmers and farmers not to transport cattle.
