Hindu outfit 'purifies' Idgah Maidan with cow urine post Tipu Jayanthi celebration

Hubballi, Nov 11 (IANS): A Hindu outfit has sprayed cow urine to purify Idgah Maidan in Karnataka's Hubballi on Friday to cleanse grounds post Tipu Jayanthi celebrations carried out here. This incident has raised a debate and is slammed by progressive thinkers.

The members of Sri Ram Sena gathered in the premises of Idgah Maidan to celebrate Kanaka Jayanthi sprayed cow urine to cleanse the grounds as Tipu Jayanthi was celebrated on Thursday.

Pramod Muthalik, founder of Sri Ram Sena sprayed cow urine before commencing Kanaka Jayanthi celebration. He stated that Tipu Sultan was a religious fanatic and the ground was polluted after celebrating his birth anniversary.

Following the celebration of Tipu Jayanthi, Hindu outfits have demanded permission for celebration of Kanaka Jayanthi. Sri Ram Sena members erected a pendal at the Idgah Maidan for their celebrations.

The permission was given for three hours for the celebrations by the civic agency. Pramod Muthalik stated that social reformer Kanaka Dasa had given a noble message to the society.

"Politicians are destroying the peace of the society in the name of caste and religion," he claimed.

    Tipu is a third rated tyrant who killed non-muslims, especially Christians of Mangaluru mercilessly. Even pregnant women and children were pushed from the top of Gadayikallu. dont glorify the worst character in the history of India. he kept his own son for money with British. would have kept his wife also if British demanded.     Moshu, Mangaluru. Tippu's roots are in Afghanistan and NOT in India. He lived in a fantasy of being the ruler of the entire India, and so he wrote a letter to the King of Afghanistan Zaman Shah asking him to send his army to invade India from the North and take over from the Moghul's. He wrote to the Sultanate in Turkey telling them that this was a golden opportunity to send their troops to invade India. A freedom fighter asking foreign troops to invade India? He also formed an alliances with the French. Why did he chose to partner with the French, weren't they Europeans too like the British? Why was Tippu the coward licking French boots, begging them to join him in his fight with the British? His biggest fights were with the local Indian population. He had serious difference with the Maharaja of Mysore and was keeping them constrained in their palaces in Mysore. He fought against the real freedom fighters of India the Maratha, the Nair's of Malabar. He fought with the Tamil Hindus, The Nizam of Hyderabad. He enslaved the Coogis and the Christians and destroyed most of the Churches and Temples in Karnataka. the No wonder Mir Jaffar and his most trusted generals of his army betrayed him and he died like a rat
