Kasargod, Nov 18: Though Badiyadka police have arrested five people in connection with the mysterious death of dental doctor Krishnamurthy, locals feel that the accused have strong political support in Kerala and attempts are being made to twist the whole story.
Those who knew the late doctor are of the opinion that Dr Krishnamurthy was lion-hearted and would never kill himself. The close friends and relatives of Dr Krishnamurthy suspect that he must have been black mailed by the land mafia or murdered by hired killers.
A protest will be held on November 18 at Paivalike by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Mathr Shakti and Durgavahini Paivalike Khanda committee. Leaders of sangh Parivar will take part in the meeting.
A silent march and lamp protest urging comprehensive investigation into the murder of Dr Krishnamurthy is organized at 6 pm near Circuit House on November 18 by Mangaluru Havyaka Sabha, Dakshina Kannada-Kasargod Havyaka Mahasabha and Mangaluru Havyaka Mandala.
“Around 250 members of Havyaka sabha will take part in the silent march. The procession is organized in order to bring to light the conspiracy behind the death of Dr Krishnamurthy and also stringent punishment to the culprits,” said Dr Rajendra Prasad, president of Havyaka Sabha Mangaluru.
