Washington, May 15 (PTI) Post-26/11, the US had confronted Pakistan with "irrefutable" intelligence about LeT's involvement in the Mumbai attacks that claimed 166 lives and said that the terror group continued to receive operational support from the military spy agencies of that country.
In a series of December 2008 meetings, top Bush administration officials told Pakistan there was "irrefutable" intelligence proof that the Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-i-Taiba (LeT) was responsible, the Washington Post reported today.
A written communication delivered to Pakistan said that "it is clear to us that (Lashkar-i-Taiba) is responsible ...
we know that it continues to receive support, including operational support, from the Pakistani military intelligence service," the report said.
Six American were among those killed in the 2008 attacks on India financial hub.
