Nov 18: Dakshina Kannada reports one Covid case, Udupi adds zero infections

Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 18: Dakshina Kannada reported one coronavirus case while zero coronavirus cases were found in Udupi on Friday, November 18.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district stands at 1,37,179 out of which eight are currently active. Two patients were discharged on November 18.

No deaths were reported on November 18. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

Zero coronavirus cases were reported on November 18. The total active Covid cases are three.

A total of 10,90,854 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,86,710 have received both doses and 2,99,333 people have received booster doses.

Udupi, Kundapur and Karkala reported zero cases.
