Bantwal, Nov 18: “It has come to my notice that the sand policy on the coast is not right. The solutions to the issue will be found after holding discussions with the minister of geology,” said minister of parliamentary affairs and minor irrigation J C Madhuswamy.

He was speaking to news reporters here on Friday, November 18.

Reacting to the Congress allegations of voters' scam, he said that the election commission revises the voters' list six months prior to elections and nobody can interfere in it. He said that allegations of 40% commission are false.

“BJP works under the direction of senior party leaders. As there are a lot of cases pending in courts, discussions were held in the conference of the ministers of law in Gujarat if the cases can be decided outside the court. We have discussed that small cases should be sorted out and reduce the pressure on the courts.”

“Cases of land grabbing used to come to the special court in Bengaluru in the past. We have decided that small acquisitions can be decided by the local revenue department,” he said.

Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik, former MLA Padmanabha Kothari and Keonics president K Harikrishna Bantwal were present.
