Puttur: Couple, child injured in scooter tyre burst, hospitalised

Puttur, Nov 19: A couple and their child were injured following a burst of the rear tyre of the two-wheeler in which they were travelling.

This incident happened at Thyagarajanagar near Tingaladi.

All the three members of the family were travelling on a scooter from Kumbra to Tingaladi. The rear tyre of their scooter burst when they reached Thyagarajanagar. The injured have been admitted to a hospital.

    Its a good practice to check Tyres before starting the journey. Also replace regularly. I hope the child is safe.

    From where did they fill air to tyre also should be investigated...This might be a conpsiracy.

    Until recently, we had been hearing of battery burst, fire etc. Now its tyre burst. What next? How can it accommodate three people on such a small cushion? Cops pounce on gullible passengers penalising them for not wearing helmet. Here the cop seems to have seen the other way. Maybe rules permitting/non-permitting.
