Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 20: Dakshina Kannada and Udupi reported zero coronavirus cases on Sunday, November 20.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district stands at 1,37,180 out of which eight are currently active. No patients were discharged on November 20.

No deaths were reported on November 20. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

Zero coronavirus cases were reported on November 20. The total active Covid cases are four.

A total of 10,90,854 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,86,714 have received both doses and 2,99,350 people have received booster doses.

Udupi, Kundapur and Karkala reported zero cases.
