Abu Dhabi -  May 23: The countdown has begun  for  “Fiesta 2011” –  the scintillating  annual event presented by Konkani Cultural Organization (K.C.O.), the premier organization of Abu Dhabi , who are  all geared up to unfold an entertainment extravaganza, on Friday 27th May 2011 at  the Gold Ball Room of Abu Dhabi Country Club,  situated next to Abu Dhabi Immigration Department from 10:30 onwards.

K.C.O.’s  day long  electrifying event is scheduled to take off at  this venue for the first time, with an ample space to accommodate larger audience and parking space too.  With just a few days left, K.C.O. is abuzz with the final touches and  would like to make this event an eventful and  exciting one.

Speaking to Daijiworld in Abu Dhabi, Gerald D’mello the President of KCO clarified that this mega event is entirely staged as a fund raising event  in  support of K.C.O.’s special philanthropic projects mainly education of underprivileged children.  The event is open to all and will cater to the taste of entertainment loving  Abu Dhabi audience.

The organizers are all out to make this  day an enjoyable and memorable one. Diverting from the usual format, this years’s Fiesta 2011 will be bigger and more exciting. The response to the sale of entry coupons has been excellent and a total sellout is expected.  This time more emphasis is given to dance and music along with other entertainment.  There will be loads of prizes to grab.

The entertainment package has been carefully selected, keeping in mind the taste of mainly Mangalorean and Goan audience.

Goa’s “Lynx Band” which has captured hearts all over India, will enthrall the audience with their foot tapping rocking music and songs.  The youngest Mangalorean star “Esther” who has managed to create waves wherever she has performed will mesmerize the crowd with her live performance for the first time in Abu Dhabi.  Kenny, the great crowd puller once again will beguile the audience with his extraordinary performance.   The Bollywood Dancers will share the  stage and perform for the first time in front of the  Abu Dhabi audience and surely will be an added attraction.  To top it all the darling of all, Leslie Rego the Master Compere is sure to keep the audience on their toes in his own amicable style.

It is encouraging to note that the Sponsors have been generous enough in supporting KCO’s cause and KCO are grateful to them.

KCO requests all the guests to be at the venue on time, not to miss a golden opportunity to be part of this big event.
