Mangalorean Magic in CBSE Continues: Srikala Tops UAE in Commerce Stream

Dubai, May 25: Mangaloreans seem to have clinched most of the top spots in the recently announced CBSE class XII exams throughout the Gulf. Yet another Mangalorean has made her hometown proud by securing her name among the toppers.
Srikala Prabhu Iruvail, a student of Indian High School Dubai and native of Moodbidri, Mangalore has topped the commerce stream in class XII CBSE exams. The results were announced on May 23.
Srikala scored 96.2% in her school with Mamta Mehra to emerge second in the entire UAE in commerce.
Srikala is the daughter of Vandana Prabhu and CA Iruvail Mahesh Prabhu, director, audit and assurance, Horwath Mak Auditors and Business Advisors, Dubai. She scored 99 in mathematics, 98 in business studies, 95 in economics and accountancy and 94 in English.
Speaking to Daijiworld, Srikala said, "I thank God for his blessings. This achievement has been possible only due to the efforts, well wishes and blessings of my parents, teachers and relatives. Hard work, perseverance and determination to succeed helped me achieve excellent results.'
Srikala plans to do chartered accountancy in the future.
