Bantwal, May 26: The state administration and education institutions are putting in lot of efforts to instil moral values besides quality education in students. However, the labels meant for pasting on the binds of books that are released in the market seem to tarnish their aspirations in this regard.

With only a few days left for school re-opening, students and their parents are busy buying books, stationery and uniforms among others. The shopkeepers are stocking wide varieties of note books and stationery including labels expecting to make the best of the academic season.

Meanwhile, the labels that are sold in these shops have caused anguish among the sensible people, since obscene pictures have been found on them. These labels carry the obscene pictures that would have serious consequences on the minds of students, thereby upsetting the aspirations of studies, they allege.

The labels of pictures of athletes, both sportsmen and sportswomen were available till a few years ago, while the obscene pictures of labels that are sold now would distract the young minds. If the labels with the pictures of models in bikini are pasted in the front cover of the books, it will really be a shameful episode.

The educationist aspire that the students should imbibe moral values and think better, hence such labels indeed distract the young minds to take undue interest on unproductive activities at their age.
Hance the citizens urge state administration and education department to take corrective steps in this regard.

What'z wrong in Barbie dolls? This is the real taste/beauty.They are not nude. Who like to see a doll with Burqa? Bollywood films has more indecent scene than this & kids are not watching? How about internet? better to be a open society. The more you restrict, kids will go out of the way to have it.
