Mangaluru, Dec 31: The members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) caught a man who was trying to steal a bull that was grazing on the roadside, forcefully and handed him over to Kavoor police station personnel.
The arrested is identified as Shivananda. The activists of pro-Hindu organizations got suspicious as Shivananda was trying to pull the bull and it was refusing to go with him. When the workers of VHP, BD caught Shivananda and inquired he said that a man in Kunjathbail is doing illegal cow slaughtering and he has promised to pay Rs 4,000 for a bull.

It is learnt that the cow thieves have found new ways to stealing cow in this manner as vehicle checking is intensified after the anti-cow slaughter act is implemented.
