Wild elephants are very possessive about their youngones. Once we were coming back fro Ooty and passing through Bandipura animals sanctuary, where herd of animals wereceossing the road and the children in the vehicle( coaster) starte teasing the elephants. Common it so abrut and the wild mother elephants turned and started charging our van. We narrowly escaped being attacked. Driver got nervous and couldnot evev engage the fear !

Absolutely right. They don't even like anyone else crossing their path, Not even any other animal from the forest. They don't like obstruction on their path as well such a cars, vehicles. Very sensible animals.
