Mangaluru: City bus personnel exhibit honesty – Return gold bangle to rightful owner

Mangaluru, Jan 2: The city bus personnel exhibited honesty of the highest order and returned a gold bangle weighing 18 gram that a woman lost in their bus. This incident occurred under Ullal police station limits.

On January 1, Tasleema from B C Road travelled to Ullal from Mangaluru on Shalimar 44C route number bus. She had lost her bangle on the bus. The incident occurred when Taslima was going to attend marriage function at Taj Mahal auditorium of Ullal.

Driver of the bus Nisar Ahmed and conductor, who found the golden bangle in the bus, informed the matter promptly to Abdul Razak, owner of the bus. On January 2, the owner arrived at Ullal police station and returned the golden bangle to Tasleema in the presence of sub inspector Shivu Kumar.
