Kasargod: Five suspected drug peddlers held, 55 grams of MDMA drug seized

Kasargod, Jan 2: Manjeshwar Police have arrested five persons on charges of drug peddling and have confiscated 55 grams of MDMA drug found in their possession.

The arrested are Bantwal resident Basheer (27), Kanyana Madakunja resident Kalandar Shafi (29), Talapady resident Preetham (29), Kiran D’ Souza (30) and Kotekar resident Akshay (24). Police have also seized a scooter from them.

As much as 43 grams of the drug was found in the scooter in which Basheer and Kalandar were travelling when the police stopped the vehicle at Manjeshwar Kanwatheertha Toominadu.

Another 12 grams of the drug was found and three of them were arrested when the police stopped the scooter for inspection on the Manjeshwar national highway.

    What an example of communal harmony. Hindus, muslims and christians coming together first time in history for something (Good or bad is a different question but now a days they dont seem to agree on anything. This is an exception). Hopefully they rot in jail forever

    @ Chunnu, Hiraidka Poor you. You are still defending the sanskaris. Even after equal partners in crime, you are blaming sahavasa and Kasargod. In this way, you can get away with any heinous crimes just by blaming on sahavasa. Is there any institution where you learn this art of defending the criminals?

    If we go by his justification, I think, in case if Mr. Chunnu becomes CM of Kerala, then he will formulate a law which prohibits punishing the sanskaris from Kasargod for any kind of crimes by putting forward his so called valid reason that they are innocent and sahavasa dosha is the reason for the crime. And after retirement he would surely settle in Kasargod to remain innocent throughout the life. Always playing safe.
