Mangaluru Jan 4: Swami Bhadraanand said, ‘Pranavananda Swamiji is playing dirty game in the name of Brahmashree Narayana Guru by organizing padayatra this month.”

Addressing media here on Wednesday January 4, Swami Bhadraanand said, “Narayana Guru delivered a vision ‘one caste one religion’ to the society and was also against liquor. Pranavananda Swamiji is organizing padayatra to fulfill several demands. There is no logic behind his statement and activities. He is cheating Billawas and encouraging toddy business. We cannot tolerate his hidden agenda. He has criminal background as well. The government should not support Pranavananda Swamiji to hold this padayatra. Further, he has no background related to Brahmashree Narayana Guru.

‘We are facing problems regard job, education is not good enough and consumption of liquor needs to be stopped. We need to know the intention and agenda of Pranavananda Swamiji. He is exploiting the feelings of people. If he conducts the padayatra, then it is an insult to Narayan Guru himself. The leaders who support Pranavananda Swamiji for the padayatra are anti-Narayana Guru,” he said.

It may be recalled, Pranavananda Swamiji Peetadipathi of Brahmashri Narayana Guru Shakthi Peeta, Kalburagi had called for a padayatra this month demanding the state government to form a corporation for the welfare of Billawa and Ediga communities and including 26 other sects and to fulfill various demands.
