Kundapur, Jan 9: A case is filed against journalists accusing them of writing derogatory matter on an entrepreneur and trying to blackmail him for money.

Surendra Shetty, partner of Sahana estate administrative company is the complainant. He has named T P Manjunatha, Harish Bhandary Kumbashi, Mazhar and other fake journalists of writing filthily about Surendra in a newspaper. Surendra also accused that the journalists of trying to defame him and blackmail for money. It is alleged that the journalists sent the page of the newspaper on WhatsApp and demanded Rs 50 lac.

    Without the victim being into some sort of illegal activities, which could be taken advantage of, no journalist will print fake news in a newspaper!! Mostly those getting blackmailed are guilty of some hanky-panky activities!!

    Feku-giri is becoming a norm. One domestic Gas cylinder price rose from Rs. 600/= to Rs 1.100/= No news papers makes an issue. Why don't they write? They get envelops during the season.

    Yellow journalism is not any new to people... In olden days there was a print media company called Hai Maruti... The publisher was so vicious that he got killed by someone he troubled for money... It is very difficult to maintain personal integrity against easily available short sighted options... Time and again we will find such stories...
