I am also too poor. And my poverty caused me to leave my country, home, family, festivals, friend, girl friend(s), etc etc. I am working in foreign country to come out of poverty. When will remaining so called "poor" will think of working hard to earn some money and feed themselves and afford 75 unit of electricity.

After reading this we have taken all the documents and gone to MESCOM Sub-Division. There we have been informed that it is only for BPL Card Holder of SC/ST community. If you are BPL card holder of Christian community you are not eligible. The concerned person has given us a circular to clarify this. Also, consumption of yearly units must be 250 Units or lower.

this country will be doomed like sri-lanka, pakistan if the govt starts doling out freebies to everyone based on caste, religion. India has a lot of opportunities for hard-working people to make a living. Do you expect a regular tax payer to fund all these stupid schemes? by the way which everyone knows will be misused.
