Mangaluru, Jan 10: The horn of a stray bull, that was loitering around Panambur and Baikampady area of the city, was its biggest enemy. The horn had grown and pierced its eye.

The Bajrang Dal workers of Surathkal Prakhanda exhibited exemplary animal love and had a part of the horn of the bull removed.

The locals had come to know about the plight of the bull a few days ago. However, their attempt to catch the bull with help of forest department personnel, veterinarians and locals failed.

On Monday, workers of Surathkal Bajrang Dal unit swung into action again from 5 am. They caught the bull after struggling till 2.30 pm with the help of rope without giving any anesthesia.

With the help of a veterinarian, the part of the horn that was obstructing and causing pain to the eye of the bull was cut. The bull which was exhausted by then, was fed with water and hay.

Reading something positive about the Bajrang Dal for the first time . If not for fellow Indians at least they are doing something positive for animals. Hope they continue doing such peaceful and noble acts towards people too as we are all Indians .

Such action to bulls are mostly very exhausting. They should have given a mild anaesthesia through veterian doctor before .So that it will feel bit quite during proceedure. Many bulls when exhausted get heart attack .That should be avoided.Ok .now he can roam about without thanking the team ..So one Bull .
