Mangaluru, Jan 12: A four-year-old girl child separated from mother was found at Surathkal bus stand. Public noticed and handed her over to Surathkal police station personnel.

It is not known whether the child was left deliberately by the mother or someone else or it got separated accidentally.

Surathkal police have sought the help of general public to trace the parents of the child. The child is tonsured, and has worn a pink colour top.

Anyone who has information on parents or relatives of the child are requested to contact Surathkal police station.

The child seems to be from a Hindu family. So sad that parents have the heart to leave such a small child on the road and run - if it is the truth. If the parents don't come forward, who will take care of this child? There are many charitable organizations that do take care of such abandoned kids but unfortunately, almost all are from Catholic\Christian background who are attacked and destroyed by the same Hindutva cadre under the fake garb of conversion. I strongly urge none of these organizations to come forward as it will have very strong repercussions in today's autocratic Hindutva India.

Totally agree! But this is not something new, this has been happening in all political parties, as religion is their fodder to bring in the divide within a society. I would rather urge the younger generation to use their so called BRAIN and steer the society to a good path by doing good deeds, this is very necessary for our future generations, and not fall into this Religion and Politics crap.

@ Evansa..., it is also important to know the "Sense" which made the parents abandoning their beloved child just like that....!!!! (Let us hope & pray that the child get good parental/guardian care to become a noble citizen of Hindustan, instead of suffering/damaging the child's future amidst likely disturbing home atmosphere); I wish the self proclaimed nationalist organizations take cognizance of the matter for good (& to avoid the perils/provisions of newly proposed conversion law).
