The deceased has been identified as Rajesh, a resident of Kumpala.

Rajesh had been working at a battery shop in Jeppu for nearly 30 years. He had reportedly been missing since Saturday afternoon. His body was subsequently found beneath the Bappanadu bridge on Sunday.

Rajesh was unmarried. His brother had passed away about a month ago, following which he was reportedly experiencing depression. He had also been facing health-related problems in recent days, according to reports.
