Looks like the use of Ganja is rampant among medical students. Unless strict action is taken many more students will fall into thsi trap, Hence police must raid all suspected rug peddlers and punish the guilty. Drug peddlers and drug addicts must be arrested. I am sure our police personale can do that

PG doctors involved in drugs; imagine a psychiatrist treating a patient for de-addiction or an orthopedic surgeon, anesthesist performing surgery under the influence of mind altering substances! As someone has stated, it should be made mandatory for the entire team of doctors to undergo drug clearance test before performing critical surgeries!!

There are 2 ways to get out. These doctors can either claim they were doing 'research' on Ganja or show affiliation to beedi/cheddi gangs. Then rest will be history.

At this rate, looks like majority medical students in Mangalore are addicted to drugs! God only should come to the rescue of patients whom they treat under the influence of mind altering substances; this noble profession now seems to be going downhill with the infiltration of drug addicts who pose highly dangerous to patients they treat!

If the arrests are based on consumption of ganja, then half of the student population in mangalore will be arrested. If such arrests can create fear among the consumption of drugs among students, then i welcome it. But as per law, these arrests will not hold good. Police should put effort on catching the big fish , like the seizure of drugs from adani port in gujrat rather then garnering media attention by catching poor students.
